Couldn’t agree more with what others have said. Lacked structure. It’s was like one long warm up on floor, bars and bean with dancing and above the head clapping. Seemed thrown together.

At first I wondered if I just didn’t realize the show was for children but judging by other reviews I’ve read, I’m not alone in my disappointment for the lack of interesting gymnastics. It was a lot of hype, music, leotard changes and clapping and waving at the audience.

My kids bought me tickets to this event (in Columbus, Ohio) as a birthday gift, thinking that because I love gymnastics (and women’s sports in general) that I’d want to see this show. $175 per ticket to see world class athletes doing warm-up drills, dancing, more dancing with overhead clapping, a few tumbling runs and playing on the gym equipment. You will see many 10 second runs on the bars, the floor and the beam but no actual routines. We all kept waiting for a “wow” moment that never came. The poor 8 year old girl next to me asked her mom, “ Are they just going to dance the whole time?” There’s a few childhood slide shows with inspirational quotes, strobe lights and back-up dancers. All of these amazing athletes in one room and all we got was a “pony show”. An incredibly high-priced, poorly produced, pony show. My daughter apologized the whole hour and a half ride home. P.S. Love the athletes and love the sport, just not this show.

I wanted to like it but there was just too much about this show that was lacking. Ironically, it looked like they were trying too hard. Unfortunately I didn’t like anything about the show and I am a huge gymnastics fan and love this team.
