Ed Sheeran & Christina Perri

Why see Ed Sheeran & Christina Perri?

The X World Tour

There's just no stopping Ed Sheeran. After bursting onto the scene in 2011 with tracks like The A-Team, the English singer-songwriter has grown into a worldwide music force, conquering charts across the world with his hip-hop inflected folk. His second record X (pronounced 'Multiply') was released last year, and featured genre-expanding collaborations with the likes of Pharrell and Rudimental. It became Spotify's most streamed album of 2014 and launched Sheeran on a massive world tour which is still continuing to this day!

Acting as support for Sheeran on these US dates is Christina Perri, whose latest album was 2014's Head or Heart. It was another collection of powerful emotive ballads from Perri, who came to everyone's attention with her debut single Jar of Hearts. Catch Sheeran and Perri when they play in , ,

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran lit up the stage at the ACC last night. His original style may seem unconventional for a large venue, one man and his guitar but he pulled it off beautifully. Singing a variety of songs from his Multiply album he held his audience captive. His rendition of his song I see fire was phenomenal. Difficult to believe he has no Orchestra but that is where his uniqueness shines. His audience interactions made you feel like he was your friend. He was funny and charismatic. Dressed in his usual simple style of jeans and a t shirt, it was easy to imagine you were sitting in a local British pub sharing a pint. Ed Sheeran is a must see. It is refreshing to see pure raw talent perform. From ballads to rap Eds performance was steĺlar. I left the concert feeling disappointed that it was over and thankful that I had the chance to see this amazing young man perform. See you next time Ed. I will definitely be there. ... Read more
