Born in Halifax, England, he began his musical career by singing at bars, clubs and festivals across the country, performing 312 in 2009 alone! In 2011 he was signed by Atlantic Records and his debut single "The A Team" debuted at number 3 in the UK.

After collaborating on a track on her latest album, Red, Ed Sheeran is due to tour with Taylor Swift for the duration of her seven-month Red Tour of North America in 2013.
