Disney's The Little Mermaid

Why see Disney's The Little Mermaid?

All the way from Broadway!

Fall in love with The Little Mermaid all over again, featuring Ariel, Sam, Sebastian and more in this re-vamped live action retelling of one of Disney's most popular movies. This production is created by Seattle's famed theatre company 5th Avenue.

Since the release of the 1989 animated movie, Disney's Little Mermaid has been one of their most well-loved tales, with it's Academy Award winning soundtrack featuring classics such as 'Kiss the Girl' and 'Under the Sea' are translated perfectly to the musical setting. With Tony nominated choreography featuring 'merblades', wheeled shoes that enable the actors to float over the stage with grace and elegance, as if really underwater, this vibrant and marvellous show is the perfect night out for the whole family!

under the sea...

The red-headed and headstrong young princess of the mermaid kingdom, Ariel can't help but dream of life above the waves, collecting up all the human things she can find, hoping she will one day get to walk on land.

When her wishes are overheard by the nefarious sea-witch Ursula, she finds her answer, but at what cost? A visit to the surface may seem like a dream come true, but Ursula has other ideas....

Delightful

A fun night filled with laughter. Highly recommended for all ages. Costumes and lighting had us all "under the sea." Ursula and Sebastian were hilarious. I would go again if I could. ... Read more

Once a Local but now out of State (lives in Oregon)

This is a must see performance. From the costumes, to the singing, the sets, the effects, music and performers. The show was very delightful and perfect for ALL ages. There were newly introduced song numbers and scenes but done beautiful to closely relate to the classic Disney movie. Overall just have to watch and worth any seat in the house no matter where you sit. Obviously closer to the stage would be best but any seat is still worth watching. ... Read more
