Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson revives the band for his new String Quartets album
Scottish prog rock icon Ian Anderson is reviving Jethro Tull for a special tour to support the release of his new album The String Quartets, a compilation of the group's greatest hits arranged played by The Carducci String Quartet. Arranged by close Tull collaborator John O'Hara, hits like Aqualung and Locomotive Breath are given new life, with Anderson playing flute and singing on most of the tracks.
Touted as one of the greatest, most creative and diverse rock group to ever come out of the classic rock era, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted outfit was dissolved by Anderson after 45 years of making music history. However, this did not slow Anderson down and the following years have been electrically charged with new material and explorations. Don't miss this chance to hear new versions of beloved Jethro Tull songs!
